Auto Parts B2B & B2C Solution

Project objectives

  • Creation of a user-friendly for B2B and B2C customers website, where they would be able to find and buy a necessary car part easily.

  • Managers should work with a simple interface and have a possibility to make changes in the order before it will be shipped, also they should know the statistics and be able to analyze customers’ demands and behavior on the website.

The challenge

  • Two types of customers with different level of knowledge about auto parts and different needs.

  • Existence of original and non-original spare parts makes it more difficult even for an advanced customer to understand if they are buying the right part.

  • The Client uses Access as a current database (which has its limitations) and wouldn’t like to move to ERP system.

  • Implementation of the custom modules “VIN Search” and “SKU Search”  for advanced users (professionals):
  • Integration with external tecdoc catalogues for less advanced users. Also development and integration of “Callback Request” (in case a customer needs a professional help):

  • Integration with Access database: products exchange (stock, price, attributes), orders exchange (new orders, statuses), invoices, shipments, users exchange, financial information requests, and so on.

Also due to it a customer can see an original part, crosses from the manufacturer and non-original crosses, also quantity of items in stock and delivery time (English translation of the main terms is written by red font):

  • Development of customized webservices. Professionals (B2B Clients) can see the price and stock in their ERP system without logging in to the website.

  • Integration with local Ukrainian couriers like: Nova Poshta, Intime, Gunsel, CAT, Autolux and others.

  • Keyword search statistics within website (assessing username and interest in a specific and targeted keyword).

Those are the most customized features of the web store. Default settings weren’t mentioned here.
